Reminds me of a time years ago when I could not understand the rates that mechanics charge for car repairs (it was about $75/hour then)/ I thought it was a rip off.............. A good friend open a car repair business and we had the hourly rate conversation, so he should me his overhead.

Car hoist lease payments
Tool lease payments
Town permits
Taxes (at all levels)
Payroll
Inventory costs
EPA costs
Disposal fees
Sundry costs
etc, etc, etc, etc
He then showed what $$$ comes in and what $$$ goes out. Even at $75/hour, not much stays in the business........
