When I first bought my used 38.5 ft 5th wheel and a MDT truck from a fellow before I pulled out of the RV park where it was I hired Dick Reeds driving school to come teach me and my wife how to drive it. Best money spent as far as we were concerned, we got two full days of behind the wheel driving, backing and parking. I have said many time the money we spent kept me from at least 3 or 4 insurance claims that first week. Learning how to turn corners when in traffic and not hitting street signs at the corners or curbs when turning was worth the price by itself. If your new and want to start out with some confidence, find a driving instructor and listen and learn. Just my 2 cents.
