Multi line broker specializing in all types of RVs.
They just quoted me $1369 per year !!!!
Way out of range :) - jnharleyExplorerIt depends if you are a full timer or not. Full timer insurance needs are much different than those of an occasional camper. And you have to be careful when you just add it to the insurance of your tow vehicle. When we were occasional campers, State Farm would not cover any item left in the RV for more than 30 days.
- allen8106ExplorerMine is through Progressive on a 2010 Jayco 31.5RLDS with $250 Comp/Collision deductible and is $542 a year.

No. This plan is cheaper for us than the regular.
Depends on driving record, where you live etc. I assume. For us, the policy with the safe driving discount only helped people with bad records. They pay a higher initial rate with discounts each year they remain safe. I have a clean record for many years. The regular rate for already safe drivers was lower. At least here thats the way it works with Allstate. Have to pay extra to later get a discount that we could get anyways without the extra premium.
Makes sense, for us we had/have a clean driving record so it must be based on where we live. - pronstarExplorer

USAA added to my truck policy, $270 per year. $100 comprehensive deductible and $500 for collision. Using the trailer 12 months out of the year, no opportunity to suspend coverage. Looks like I might could shop around a bit. But then again, customer service from USAA has always been outstanding.
I've got everything with USAA.
But for my fiver, they quoted me $800...so I went to Progressive for even better coverage, $400. - mileshuffExplorer

USAA had cash value, Progressive was way too high and GMAC had replacement cost in case of total loss. Depending on your deductible, they will all be different.

Your driving record, your credit history, your coverage level, your deductible, type of policy, where you reside etc.
Your costs will be different than others........that's insurance.
We use National Interstate because we have 'full timers' insurance vs an addendum to our truck policy.
Full timers insurance is same type of policy coverage on a S&B home.
National Interstate specializes in RV Ins. coverage....all types of policies and coverages.
Been a great company.......couple of claims over the past 6 yrs. and they handled both quickly, efficiently, no hassles AND no increase in premiums.
Our Cameo also with National Interstate. $400.00 year no deductibles at this point. Five year full replacement and awning coverage.
Be careful to make sure you are covered when not hitched if you insure off of your truck policy...never know when a tree will fall on you or damage will occur that your auto policy does not cover. - GearitisExplorerI have had Geico, Progressive, MFA, Allstate, and Safeco. Nothing has come close to the coverage and easiness of Good Sam Club. It used to be serviced by GMAC the 4th largest insurance company, it changed recently. Still you deal with Good Sam Adjusters. Had a blow out, ripped off the side of my rig, no questions, Good Sam Fixed it, new axles and tires and it cost me $250. Another example, awning was ripped of by the wind, they put a new one on. I had this happen with Allstate, they argued with me for 6 months and they never paid. My premiums run around 400 bucks a year with GSC. Overall on all 4 of my vehicles, they saved me over $1200 a year with more coverage and less hassle. Others will probable chime in and be negative, but I have been sold on GSC for a few years now. Lets see what happens with the new underwriter.
