Oh yeah... you mentioned General RV which is who I bought from so I will rant some more.
They are really bad at ordering parts. I had the service writer tell me the parts were back ordered. After about 3 weeks I asked him to check if they were actually on order. Two days later he told me they were still backordered. After about 5 weeks I called to push the issue and found out he no longer worked there. The new guy never could find any order for the parts. They had to start from scratch.
So, doubt everything they tell you. Follow up every 2 days. Be a polite pest.
