Lets not forget the '00-'06 1500 GM 8600 GVWR 6084 RAWR E tires and wheels 6.0 engine 4L80E tranny 4.10 gears 3000 lbs + payload with 10k + tow ratings.
This truck replaces the older '90s 2500 LD trucks.
Agree some of the newer 1/2 tons have better numbers in some ways (not RAWR payloads) than some of our older 3/4 ton trucks.
