RV Tire Recommendations

I know the Goodyear G614's are supposed to be among the best. Has anyone run the Sailum brand and results? Has anyone used Yokohama brand. Or does someone have a recommendation for another brand of tire that is "G" rated with 3750# load.

Please keep the post short.

Thanks,
Jim

  • Michelin XPS Ribs is what I chose after several days of research. Main reasons very few complaints compared to other brands Plus most RVers seem to get more mileage than expected from the tires.
  • I'm in the process of putting the Sailun tires on my toyhauler so I can't give any advice about how they perform yet. They look like great tires though. We shall see how they perform. It will be interesting to see if that $1000 I saved will come back to bite me. :)

Stick with the GY G tires I have had two sets and never even a flat. I just up graded to GY H and Alcoa 17.5" wheels. Talk to Scott at trailertiresandwheels.com have the tires shipped to you and have someone install. At least you can have some leverage with the local guys on pricing. He also has very fresh tires.

Just remember GY will pay for damages the others will not then you have a claim on your insurance!
