We have gotten a good response by going directly to a component's
manufacturer. One good point is that the manufacturer (in our instance Dometic)
had numerous certified repair businesses in the area where we were
and even authorize/sent a mobile tech service.
When going through the camper's manufacturer, they most likely will require
you to go to a dealership that sells their brand. And that could mean a long wait
for an appointment. Especially if the nearby dealership did not sell you the
camper that needs repair. They tend to take care of "their" customers first.
So if the issue is with a Lippert product, the OP might be better off contacting
Lippert.
