For Travel Trailers;
On an annual basis, you must perform the following maintenance
1. Inspect roof and seal where necessary
2. Axle and hub lube
3. Furnace - annually inspect and clean blower and combustion chamber. Control compartment,
remove any dust, lint, and obstructions. Test for gas line leaks.
4. Hot water heater - flush holding tank, manually operate pressure temperature relief valve, and
clean burner tube as outlined by the manufacturer.
All required maintenance must be performed by a professional repair center.
With the cost of labor today that would add up to a nice size bill. The average non mechanical could perform most of those.
Don
X2. It would be worth it to check into the cost of labor for those specific items and then tally that up for 5,7 or 10 years. No wonder dealers are excited about it. It's a great way to increase revenue.
