I sent an email to David Durnell who is one of the owners yesterday and today I heard from my sales rep and two financing managers. Unfortunately they did not agree to refund my deposit.

I've asked my credit card company to engage and help me settle the dispute.

I know that there are folks who had good luck with RVW but I now join the ranks of those who have not.

For us who are too far to personally check out the units, order blindly, and hope that nothing happens during the ~2500 mile delivery..my recommendation is to NOT order from RVW. Obviously having proper documentation of agreements did not help my case. If they cannot honor something that is explicitly stated in their contract, then I wonder what else they're not willing to help out with once the units are in the consumers possession.

That's very interesting. So are you saying that it is a requirement of RVW to use their financing? If so that's really disappointing.

Just to be sure call them 1 day and ask for the payoff amount and see what happens.

One should do their home work and hone their negotiating skills. It is no different that buying cars, boats or any other durable goods. Also, there are many books that help hone those skills.

That is true, but my experience has been the independent repair shops do a better job. So it is a mute point.
