On our other fifth wheel, I would just use my deck shoes and had no problems walking every where except near the edges. This new one has a lot more arch in it and I did not feel safe standing anywhere. I have walked on it when it was dry but would not consider it when wet. Even on hands and knees, I was slipping and sliding. I also considered using a ladder and long handled brush. But I also use the time that I am cleaning the roof to inspect the caulking around the vents, antenna mount, sunlight, etc. That would be difficult to do from the ladder.
