I am running 6 g614's on my toyhauler. So I have about 22,500 lbs of tires on 21,000 lbs of axles on a trailer with a gvwr of 18,500. While I *CAN* run them at a lower pressure, 105 seems to wear fine - as there is no visible wear at ~5k. Overkill - yea, but the likelihood of a preventable tire failure is near 0, they can be 30 psi low and still have more then enough air to carry the load. Remember most failures are overloading/under inflation - as they are underinflated the load capacity drops, so even a 'E' tire at 2,500 lbs is overloaded if underinflated.
