Sailun S637

That sounds like a great price. It cost me right at 1,000.00 for my Michelin LTX MS2 tires I put on mine 2 years ago.

Sounds great! I think I paid around $1100-$1200 for 5 Sailuns and a rim last summer.

3 years ago I paid $685.00 or so mounted and balanced with 4 new steel valve stems. My older S637 tires are labeled LT235/85R and not ST.

Sounds like a good deal. I paid 900.00 for the for my Sailuns, mounted and balanced back in Apr 2013. Never had a problem and they still look very good.

A great deal on a great set of tires. I have had mine for 2 years now and they still look like new and are wearing like steel. I don't think you'll be sorry you went with them.

In regards to the ST issue, I think they are all labelled ST now but they are the exact same tire as they were when they were labelled LT. I believe they relabelled them to avoid some sort of an import tax.

In the end I wouldn't hesitate at all to buy them again. I paid more than that but I'm in Canada where we tend to get burned on a lot of items! :M

Simpltire were the next best price WITHOUT road hazard they were 681.06 shipped. Then probably at least another 40 or so to mount ,and balance. Right around $720.00 when done.

Was going to go with Simpletire, but the thing that stopped me was that they could only guarantee a tire to NOT be over three years old, that seemed a bit extreme. Very doubtful I would get a Sailun that old, but I didn't want a tire more then 6-12 months old.

Had no idea a local tire dealer would be more competitive then online, and also got a tire dealer closer to home to match the $635.00. Neither one is very far away.

The nice thing is that I can look at the date code before buying. The one dealer carries the Sailun, and the other can get them by the next day . I actually called the first one back again to verify that was a out the door price, and he confirmed.

Everything I have read has been positive with the Sailuns, actually told a friend about them, and thats what he is running. Couple years now with no problems.

Presently running the Goodyear G614's ,been a good tire, but they will be 7 years old in a couple months.

Headed on a long trip next week with the fifth wheel , I thought I would be pushing my luck running those G614's any further .
