The 2009 brochure for the OP's FW shows a GVW of only 9400 lbs. E-rated tires are =way= overkill. Personally, I'd save the money and stick with some good D-rated LTs. Figuring 80% on the axles at 9400 lbs, that's only 1880 lbs on each tire. My Komfort, with an 11,300 GVW, is placarded for D-rated tires. YMMV...

Well, in another active thread on here there is much talk about what to do if you have a blowout, and should you throw the other tire away that carried the load. ST tires come with heavy weight carrying capacities, perhaps for that reason. In my case, I went to Load Range E tires. They can inflate to 80 psi and will carry 2680 at full inflation. A D rated tire carries 2335.
Personally, I feel just a little bit more comfortable with the extra 345 pounds if I have a blowout and I have to move the unit.
I also feel pretty comfortable with the fact that these are essentially commercial truck tires, and they are built really tough.
