I seem to get the fact I buy the best of everything I can and if I find something better I will buy it. Sorry if it hurts your feelings that I don't try to cheap out like so many do and make excuses for what they have.

I really don't care what others buy except for when they are putting others at risk. There have been plenty of people that have PM'd me and thanked me for what I have recommended and asked my opinion on something.

There are plenty of people on here looking for advice and want to start out with quality from the beginning so they are who I am directing many of my posts to. I have had junk in the past and once I found a better product I bought it and I will keep doing so. Example RBW hitch, junk compared to B&W same with Prodigy P-2, junk compared to MaxBrake.

So if the amount of posts I have made hurts someones feelings that is really too bad for you.

Sure nice to get slammed for nothing, I ask for an example of what I said that was so bad and I get a lame "If you have to ask there is the problem" answer.

Oh don't forget MaxBrake, TrailerAid Plus, Mobile Suites, RAM/CUMMINS, AMZ/OIL, Weber Baby Q, GoodYear Trailer Tires, Michelin Truck Tires, Highway Products Tool Boxes and many other quality products I will keep giving reasons why I feel they are the best in their class.

So if I bother some of you so much with me advocating quality products just block me or quit being so immature.

I couldn't agree more , 3000 posts, probably half of them trying to convince everyone how foolproof B&W is.

Just about everyone has, particularly the second statement! Vehicle is getting older and rates never go down! Now to all those that want to complain about tires I would ask why they are demanding 4 to 6 to 10 year warranty coverage on tires but are willing to accept 12 month on the rest of the RV?

Many tire companies will even sell "Road Hazard Warranty" which means no matter the reason they will replace the tire.

Try and get an RV mfg to offer 100% coverage on simple things like the 12v wiring or the paint. You know the stuff GM, Ford, Hyundai & Kia will cover for 5 to 10 years.

RV apologists, like some magazine editors and writers, will try and use the excuse that RVs are special and we should accept that they won't last more than a few months, but there is nothing special about 12v wiring or paint. Why is it acceptable for awnings to fail at 18 months? or paint to flake off bumpers at 24 or all 6 light bulbs in brake light assemblies corrode at 12 months, or a 1/2 full can of spray paint be left under the bathroom floor to roll around, or to have heat ducting crushed to 1/2 height by design, or headliner molding fall off at 3 years, or exterior graphics crack at 18 months or door hinges bend of its own weight so the door will not close properly, or windows to capture water and leak at 6 months or front end alignment improperly set when the unit leaves the factory?

ISO certification is hard to get. I am impressed that Saliun has achieved this level of documented quality process. I have worked as both a QS9000 and TS16949 auditor and from what I have personally observed in US built RVs and many of the component suppliers, I can say I would not spend more than an hour checking on their quality systems before failing them and walking out of their facility.

If that happened to a GM or Ford or Chrysler supplier there would be people looking for work the next morning.

In general tires are the highest quality item on your RV. Before you complain about a tire failure after 2 or 4 years due to overloading or underinflation or over speed operation, can you point to the rest of your RV and convince me that every part that has failed to performwas replaced, free including labor, by the local RV dealer?

He was very vocal with several consecutive posts in this thread about how paying less for a set of good quality foreign made tires is a mistake and the OP won't be reimbursed for trailer damages. Now he's resorted to calling people names "tight wad" who respectfully disagree. I think the original poster made a good decision with tires.

It boils down if you own GY tires ,Mobile Suite, and B&W, Oh almost forgot Ram Fiat you can belong to the club, if you post anything to the contrary watch out.

If I would have done a little more research on tires ,and would have run across Sailun tires I would have bought them instead of the G614's. G614's are overpriced , and they have had their share of failures . As some have stated that is why we pay for insurance, no need to double it up paying for overpriced tires. Does anyone know for sure if Sailun won't step up to the plate if you have a failure with damages. Sailun will be my next tire when the time comes, reviews look good. NC you are correct time will tell, but I have the feeling as time goes on we are going to hear good things.

Why would you be asking such a question??????? That is what you have insurance for, right????

What I am saying is how do we know Sailun does not step up to the plate to cover damages on a failure. I don't care one way or the other, nor did I care whether GY covers damages, I bought the GY thinking I was giving myself less chance of failures, not whether they will fix damages or not. There are not a lot of choices out there for the heavier fifth wheels it is either a good G rated tire or going to 17.5 . If Sailun works out for that application why would you want to discredit it because it is not YOUR choice of tire.

Yes you are correct that is why I have insurance, and not banking on GY. Yes I know they cover damages until for whatever reason they don't .

I don't believe I have discredited Sailun tires once. I give reasons for why I like something and seem to get slammed for voicing my opinion.

The reason I mention Insurance is if you claim for some tire damage they probably won't raise your rates but anything else that comes along and you claim it watch out!

I never expect to have a claim with my GY tires but if I do I know I am covered.

BTW I use Michelins and BFG's on my vehicles.
