You've never had a blowout with damage, but you'll swear that GY will cover it if you do. As long as it isn't road hazard, and you can prove to them that it wasn't road hazard. Riiiiight, and I'll respect you in the morning. :)
I think I'll try the Sailun and see how it goes.
GY paid for mine, and the problem very well may have been caused by a sagging spring pack, but GY not only paid for the one tire that lost it's tread, but put 4 brand new tires on my 5er for me as well as told me they would pay for the repair of any damage done to my 5er. I don't know if anyone else would have paid for one tire that may have lost it's tread due to a sagging spring pack, but 4 of them?? Don't know what they'll do with everyone else, but I was impressed with what they did for me...Haven't heard of anyone who they didn't restitute for a failed tire and damaged TT or 5er, but that doesn't mean they haven't' turned some down. As for Chinese manufactured tires, I would look at the Sailun tires due to their earned quality accreditations, but as to if they'd step up and do what GY would do in case of a tire failure, guess only time will tell..
