Samson G-rated Tires

I'm finding a little bit of information about these. But the majority seems to be regarding the tires for motorhomes. I know these are no G614s.

But does anyone have any real world experience for them? How's the pricing as well?

I'd also look at the G rated Sailun S637 tires, very reputable as only Chinese tire manufacturer that I'm aware of that has passed TS16949 certification...also much cheaper than the GY G 614's.

X2. I put them on our trailer last year and they are a very heavy robust tire. I have absolutely no issues with them so far and have yet to read anything negative about them. I haven't even had to add air to them yet.

I haven't read any negative reviews either, and that is on 4 or 5 truck and RV sites over last several years,... I think there are several on this forum who have run them 3 years with no issues.

    Samson Tires

    Cool find. Thanks.

I'm not going to do it. At this point, I just don't trust the dealership. We really like the camper and may end up getting it but the sales manager has blown too much smoke my way for me to do this right now. They want me to fax them a deposit form so bad, its annoying. But after this last bull about these $306 Samson tires, I'm going to wait until after the Raleigh RV show next weekend. If we don't see anything there that we don't know about (I doubt we will), then we'll go look at some others and this Vengeance again. If I buy the Vengeance, it'll be with its original tires. I'll probably go ahead and get G614s and have peace of mind.
  • I paid $1,600.00 for 4 G614's. I would not be willing to roll the dice on something that is untested to save $600.00. I hope these tires work out.

Good luck and keep us posted as we all will need more as time passes.
  • I just had Samson ST235-80R16 GL285T installed om my 5er last week. Only done a few miles on them so far lets see how they go.They were $1020.00 mounted and balanced.
