seal pulling out?

I repaired mine and it has lasted for a while. Probably not forever. Exact same location as yours, around that bend. All I did was push the trim upward in its groove. A couple of inches I suppose. It has shrunk lengthwise over time. Then I ran a screw through the center of the trim right at the bottom so that it could not slip back downward. The screw is below the living quarters area, so no concerns about water intrusion down there.

When you replace, push back so as to gather more material rather than stretching it.

Mine came out running down the highway in 100 degree weather. Fixed mine with flex seal adhesive. RTV silicone would work nicely too. Been good since.

It shrunk. Nothing will work and look right except to replace it. Just did mine. Bought new off of Amazon for about 15 bucks for 100 feet, like I needed that much. I just cut it at the ends and inserted the new then used a small screw through the end to hold it in place.

In the boating world, they're called "rub rails", and do serve a purpose. My KZ lost the RR one completely when it got hot the first summer we had the rig. Just slid right down the track and onto the ground. Idiots at the factory didn't bother to secure the top. Dealer replaced it with a non-matching piece, but it doesn't slip out. I have the same issue, in the same place as the OP. Just need to buy a roll of it and DIY my own fix. Just one more example of a mfr cheaping out on stuff that a $5 difference would likely fix.

You can also use Proflex on the ends of them to keep them sealed and in place. I have both sides of mine do that and as said, it is cheap to buy new material and replace the old seals.

This happened to me last year, on both sides. It started like in your photo but got worse.
I pulled it out, leaving it attached at the ends. Cleaned it, stretched it out and put it back in. Once I had a good fit, I put a few drops of superglue in the area where it started. So far so good.

I replaced mine. $20 for 50' of molding trim.
