Roy, I appreciate the info, but yes, already have the batteries, want to hold on to them ;)
I don't need to vent the area any more, so I'll be sealing up some parts while keeping good ventilation for the inverter/charger.
I'm not looking for military grade security, just enough to dissuade someone enough to move on. At first glance there isn't anything that would indicate the special nature of the batteries, but you never know.
Thinking about it some more, maybe even a kind of false cover would do the trick with the added bonus of providing more storage space on top...
