Shocks on a fiver

Any pro and cons about putting shocks on our 5th wheel? We have Jayco Eagle rear kitchen and every time we travel every thing is topsy turvy or broken. If I do install them back axle or both front and back.
  • Never felt the need for shocks on a trailer. And BTW, it is nothing like a car or truck, so that comparison is specious.

But when you've got an issue like this that needs a solution, I say go for it so you'll know if it helps. Both axles to maximize any benefit.

Difference of night and day!! We also have a rear kitchen, and made all the difference.

We used the lippert kit from CW. $120 and axle and about two hours in the storage yard to install.
  • The pro's are obvious. The con is cost. If you're handy you can cut that down a lot too.
  • If you really want to experience the difference, take the shocks off of your car and go for a drive. Two minutes will convince you why shocks are necessary.
