Funny you should mention the Campmaster because I owned one of those too 2003 24 foot. They don't make the Campmaster any more. I think they stopped around 2006. The Campmaster had a enclosed garage. The trailer is divided in half 12 foot garage and 12 foot living area. They have a Wet bath, no bedroom so you have to make the dinette or the couch as a bed. That said I liked the Campmaster as my first Toy Hauler. I think you would be hard pressed to find one in great shape being that they are 12 to 15 years old....

What is is that is the must have list for a toy hauler. Enclosed garage? Price? ? Load capacity?

Just a place to sleep when I’m working away from home and get away on a weekend occasionally. Garage then price but I really don’t want to spend over $10k.
Are the work play and campmaster pretty much the only 2 like this?

There are a couple other brands that make cargo trailer type toy haulers like Mirage.....Balboa But I can think of any dealers that sell them.
When your looking at a enclosed garage toy hauler with a front bedroom your looking at 28 to 30 feet in length.

I think you can find a Toy hauler in your price range BUT it will be 10+ years old and in who knows what condition. That's 10 years sitting out in that Montana winter.

When shopping I would look for a original owner where the rig was stored under a covered parking area or in a shop.

Look for water damage...stains, wrinkled wall paper, soft spots in the floor under windows and cargo ramp. If you smell mildew run!

In the long run I think you would be better off to look at rigs no older than 5 years and 20K or less...
