Short bed Vs Long Bed Truck pulling performance
I have a short bed, 2007 Chevy 2500HD. I am beginning to consider a new truck and was curious whether a long bed provides a more comfortable ride than the short bed?

Long bed just because it has more room in the bed. When you add an aux fuel tank, 5th wheel hitch, a generator, extra propane tank, gas cans, leveling blocks and a few other misc items, maybe some firewood, even a long bed is out of room. Can't imagine living with a short bed!
