Short bed Vs Long Bed Truck pulling performance
I have a short bed, 2007 Chevy 2500HD. I am beginning to consider a new truck and was curious whether a long bed provides a more comfortable ride than the short bed?

No...wheelbase has more to do with a good ride.... up to a point.
Having owned several long and short beds with all type of cabs in commercial service and putting hundreds of thousands of miles behind the wheel non of my long bed has a superior ride over any of my short bed trucks.
You will differences in ride quality between these trucks especially some 2wd vs 4wd....... Fords Super Duty has three different RAWR packages with different spring packages.....year models/etc/etc.
The thing for you to do is drive the different wheelbase trucks with long and short beds and decide for yourself
