Which is better, or does it matter, a long bed or short bed for towing a fiver?

The Super Duty SWB = 81.8 or 98.0 for the LWB in either the Super Cab or the Crew Cab versions.
I don't think there is a standard length anymore. At least for Ford. If Ford offers different bed lengths for the versions above then the ones stated above would be considered "standard"
