Short or long

I thought you had to have the 6.5 long box in order to install a hitch and tow without having to worry about hitting the back window ?

It's really a personal choice.
But i am looking to get a long box Truck. To install a below the bed rails tool box, for my gear behind the cab window.

We have a short. You CAN do it with a short bed. Would we buy a short bed next time.......NO......we want more room to pack STUFF!

I think it is a matter of preference. I prefer a long bed, but some would rather the short bed with a shorter wheel base. If I was going short bed I would want an automatic sliding hitch, but again that is a matter of preference.

Love our short, no problems.

Long. If yer gonna buy a truck? Buy the whole truck!!

All depends on what your used to. Personally I prefer the extra storage room and not having to use a slider hitch
