Adapters and extension cords are always good to have.
Often you do not know you will need them until you arrive at the site. If you don't have the correct adapter already in your possession you could easily find yourself SOL.
Maybe you can scramble and purchase an adapter from the CG for top dollar.
If you are lucky there is a Walmart close by.
On the other hand you could be stuck without electric until you somehow obtain the correct adapter or extension cord
