His empty rear axle weight is around 3000 lbs. I'm not sure how his generator has gained weight, and I don't recall OP saying what hitch he was using. Mine weighs about 40 lbs, FWIW. Even using your numbers OP would be well under 6000 lbs on the rear axle. People and stuff in the cab you can generally figure will be split between the axles. You are trying very hard to create an issue where there isn't one.
