Dang Donn back off you have stated your point!
While I don't recommend to others to run over GVWR, I do and have a great towing experance. My 2001 Ram 2500 carries and tows our 12,360# GVWR 5er great.
Last time I scaled TV was at about 10,200# (8,800# GVWR) still have about 500# spare capacity on the VIN rear axle of 6,084#.
My 2500 has a camper package with optional 265/75-16E tires 3,415# ea so well within capacity.
I don't need or have bags, don't need them, go figure.
