Sierra 37bhok or380bh5 by Forrest River

Wanted to see what you guys thought about the Sierra by Forrest River 5th wheels. We have been in our Cruiser 5ver for the last 3 years and saw the Sierra 37bhok at the RV show yesterday and really liked it. I don't know anything about the quality of these series of 5ver. Any info from owners on how they like them or don't like them would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the info
  • We have the Cedar Creek 36ckts by FR. This is our 2nd Cedar Creek and we have had no issues other than the minor tweeking during the PDI.
  • We have FR Sandpiper 366FL, twin to the FR Sierra 366FL. Only issues we have had, which happened right after purchase was a faulty hydraulic valve on slide, a leaking front landing gear, did not notice that dealer did and replaced it. Had to have fridge fans replaced and floor sag in hallway fixed. That was over a year ago and since not one issue. To answer the question, yes we love our fiver.

You are likely to get mixed responses based on what seen posted on the forums. Some people are happy and some are unhappy with their FR purchases. FR has a number of different brands and physical plants. I am sure some are better than others. We have been very happy with our 2014 Columbus, which is made by Palomino (which is owned by FR). You can buy an optional 2nd year of FR factory warranty. It costs $150 for the additional year of factory warranty on our Columbus. I liked the Sierra's when we looked at them. I can't help much with a quality assessment. Good luck.

Thanks for your reply, I figured I would get some good and bad comments as with all RV manufactures. Plus another problem is the closest Forrest River dealer is 80 miles away.
