Silver Strand SB(San Diego) Power and water hookups

I am soon going on my yearly trip and wondered if anyone has been since they installed water/power. Are the spots the same width/length? How tall are the pedestals for the hookups? The sites are ki...

I have had similar experiences with the park ranger staff at Silver Strand. They are on a power trip. The hosts are also extremely aggressive about the rules. At least with hookups now, they won't harass me at 9:30 AM for running my generator for 5 minutes in order to make coffee when there were less than 15 people in the whole "campground".
