slide for storage compartment

I also had a slide out in sig 5ers basement....It took up a lot of room and after a lot of thought, I removed it.. Now I have more room to store things....I've had 5S & ergonomic training and everything has found it's place in my 5er's basement and is easily accessible from one side or the other.... you don't have to crawl in, stretch or contort yourself to get to anything we need. I figured rails, roller system and whole roll out was around 120# or more of taking up quite a bit of floor space that could be used for something else...and we were right. The wife and I like this set up much better than the slide out that came with the 5er....one of several things we've done to our 5er that make it more 'user friendly'...Don't regret moving it one bit, and haven't missed it at all.
