Slide Gasket

I need to replace my full wall slide "D" style rubber gaskets. Unit is a 2011 Carriage Cameo FWS 36 LXI. If someone out there would have a part number It would be greatly appreciated.
  • I think they are a generic part. Google slide gasket and look for the shape of the gasket you need.
  • I bought the seals for mine but haven't installed them yet. Is there an easy way to install them without removing the slide toppers?

If like the ones on my Copper Canyon with the "T" spine, I needed to remove the top two corner caps. This allows you to do the sides from the top, and the top from either side.
I chose to PUSH the seal into the track rather than to pull it in. Pulling in will stretch the seal, pushing will slightly compress the seal which can compensate for any shrinkage.
  • Did you ask your question on the Lifestyle/Carriage forum. You will get a definitive answer there and probably a link to s website. I have done the D-style seal that mounts on the slide but not the ones on the camper body itself.
