how do you keep the water from freezing camping in freezing weather?
We stay winterized until we hit warm temperatures. We flush using antifreeze; and any water that goes down the sink drain from brushing teeth, gets followed by a splash of AF. Reflectix over the windows and pillows in the vents keeps the inside warmer. This has served us well in our 10 years with our Class C with exposed tanks.
As we drive north again, we winterize when the temps drop below freezing. I know the first time winterizing the 5er will take a while, but we could winterize the Class C in about 15 minutes. It's what ALL of us northerners have to do to enjoy a midwinter break from the snow.
