slider fifth wheel hitch
Have short bed truck wand slider fifth wheel mount.rockwood dealer said don't need it for rockwood. My question is can I use one anyway? He say's no,but if I tow any other trailer I need to slide.

I am looking at the sidewinder/revolution as well, but one dealer told me that The RV Manufacturer could void the structural warranty on the new 5th....so that caused me to pause, and now I am still thinking and researching. Have you heard of a manufacturer voiding a warranty for using this?
I wouldn't trust the dealer, may have ulterior motives. Call the manufacturer directly. Some manufacturers will void the warranty, or threaten to void warranty if you make any modification, add a bike rack or hitch on the back, etc. If the Sidewinder is the same length as the original pin box, then leverage will be the same and since it is a bolt on, equivalent pin box, it should not void the warranty.
