Slider hitch necessity?
My truck is not a long bed and wondered if I should sale my 20k Reese hitch and get a slider?

I have an 08 Cardinal with the mostly flat front. I tow with a short bed Ford and I use the slider hitch often. I damaged the cab of my previous Dodge truck so I am very cautious now. It only takes one time to cause a lot of damage. I have a manual Reese 16K slider. It is easy to slide it back as long as rig is on near level ground.
