Slider hitch necessity?
My truck is not a long bed and wondered if I should sale my 20k Reese hitch and get a slider?

I put a small dent in the last truck I had from our f'ver right here at home backing in the drive. Since then I slide the hitch back whenever I backup. Just cheap insurance is what we figure. It only takes once hundreds of miles from home with a broken back glass to ruin a vacation.
