Slides and rain????
So its raining here and I went out to pull the slides in for the first time in the rain. My question is do any of you wipe the walls and roof of the slide once retracted to keep them from dripping inside the 5th wheel?

- I use some old bath towels if needed but it has be maybe twice in ten years.
We don't always get a lot of rain down here either. - I did tonight to see what happens I have only had the 5th wheel one day. I understand not to do unless needing to move. But was curious what all of you do when you do retract them in the rain.

YES we have had to retract slides (3 when raining........but we were moving to another location).
So as we retracted we were wiping down top/sides with towels and then placed towels under each corner after fully retracted for travel cause the slide 'wipers' and use toweling didn't get ALL water off.
Slide 'wipers' did a pretty good job- Unless you're having to move in the rain, why pull them in?
