- TrackrigExplorer IIIn. Why would you want to store when you're not using it?

- bdpreeceExplorer IIIn. Your not using it and by having them open you just open more area to sun, rain etc. which will cause it to deteriorate faster. When loading we open slides as needed to access closets, etc.
- mbrowerExplorerMine stays under a permanent cover so I leave my slides out. Before I built my cover, I kept slides In to minimize exposure to the elements.
- Old-BiscuitExplorer III5vr parked next to house plugged in to power with slides retracted.
Keeps the seals covered and less chance of any leakage or critters getting in. - cyntdon2010Explorer

X2 - BumpyroadExplorerI always left mine in. why not?
bumpy - waltbennettExplorerOut unless really bad weather or in 'deep storage' for winter like now. We use it in our driveway as guest quarters, etc.
- RustyJCExplorerOurs stays powered up in covered storage when not in use. The slides are pulled in for the following reasons - less internal volume to heat in winter, no exposure of seals or slideout roof to the elements, the water lines under any slideout(s), although insulated, are pulled into a heated area for additional protection.
Rusty - rattleNsmokeExplorerThe 2 main living areas are in....the bedroom slide usually stays out so we can walk around the bed to get to the dresser drawers, closets etc.
