- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIThese were the OEM latches.......junk!
These are what I replaced the OEM with. 7 yrs. of Full Time and they are great!
Got them at PPL Motorhome LINK - InmansExplorerWe removed the plastic latches. I place an adjustable tension curtain rod in the tracks when we travel, just takes a minute to do.
- kohanaExplorerFunny my OEM looked like your replacements, when they failed I replaced them with latches that look like your OEM.DUH!!

When we are staying for a few days we reverse our sliding closet doors and the we dont have to deal with the plastic latch. Sure makes it nice.
I took our doors off in the bedroom so we can use full size plastic clothes hangers. - 2oldmanExplorer III never close them until I move. Not sure if your latch is the same as mine.. just some plastic 'studs' in the wall that insert into the edge of the door.
- swintersExplorerDang kohana - I was hoping the black ones would hold up. My 5th wheel came with the clear type and I'm on my third set and we do like filrupmark and reverse the doors whenever we aren't on the road. They just get brittle over time no matter what. We went to the Tacoma, WA RV show this weekend and I checked out all of the types of latches and was going to buy a set of the black ones and change mine. (I find the RV shows to be the best idea shopping place around and worth the entrance fee.)
- GinngerExplorerThe tab (on the inside of the latch) broke on mine and it still works. I did have to pull the latch open with a little more force the first time, but it opens easily now. You do have to pull the latch open to engage the latch. No big deal, and it didn't cost me anything :)
