- RDS33ExplorerOn ours the latch has been removed. Two holes drilled in the bottom track to drop hinge pins to lock the doors closed. The hinge pins have tape wrapped around them to keep then from going to far down.
- csamayfield55xExplorerMine have 2 detents. The first one is more of a stop when we are parked. Just kinda sits there. The second is a strong latch that holds them closed. They seem to be holding up well for the entire 150 miles I have on my new trailer:)

- jjjExplorerI drilled a hole in the track behind each door and drop a 16 penny nail in the track to hold the doors from sliding while traveling. I know, a nail, but it matches the color of the track and door frames and you hardly see them.

hahahaha - one man's junk is another man's resolve, and visa versa and so on. - JJnLillyExplorerWe always to what the OP does. Making sure they are in the correct place and latched before departure is on both of our pre-departure check list.

These were the OEM latches.......junk!
These are what I replaced the OEM with. 7 yrs. of Full Time and they are great!
Got them at PPL Motorhome LINK
After going threw several replacement clear plastic plus the two original ones, I installed these black ones 5 or 6 years ago. Simple one hand release and work great.
I bought mine straight from SEA.

Chris - larry_barnhartExplorerWe were told to be careful or the plastic latches could break when we picked our 2001 alpenlite up at the dealer. 2579 nights later they are still doing the job. I guess we listened.
