i have completed the repairs, I also ran a bead of RTV down the back of the roller assembly against the door.. as well as the screws themselves.
I had to drill another hole in the angle brackets, as the size I bought, the second hole was in the space between the top of the door and the roller. 1.5 inches of open space.
