small., lightweight fifth wheels

Forest River makes a Flagstaff model that's 29 ft that my wife and I considered. We ended up buying a 34 ft. Forest River Salem Hemisphere. Both are lightweight compared to some. Ours has a 8,500Lb. dry weight. I'm sure there are other makes/models that offer similar 5th wheels. Best thing to do is start browsing the websites of the manufacturers and look at their lightweight offerings and go from there. Just remember the "Half Ton Towable" models really means lightweight and easily towed by 3/4 ton trucks.

Look at the Cougar xlite series. We have a 2013 xlite 26sab. 6990 empty at.I think it is 30 ft long. Very nice to tow.

Heartland makes some lighter and shorter 5th wheels.

I like mine it says it be used with a half ton. But it much rather be towed with a Duramax.26.5 Jayco
