- RobWNYExplorerForest River makes a Flagstaff model that's 29 ft that my wife and I considered. We ended up buying a 34 ft. Forest River Salem Hemisphere. Both are lightweight compared to some. Ours has a 8,500Lb. dry weight. I'm sure there are other makes/models that offer similar 5th wheels. Best thing to do is start browsing the websites of the manufacturers and look at their lightweight offerings and go from there. Just remember the "Half Ton Towable" models really means lightweight and easily towed by 3/4 ton trucks.

WE used to have a small fifth wheel and would like to consider going back to one. Our old one that we sold several years ago was 24 foot with only a small slide. Is anyone making one like that now?
