What am I missing here? A lifted goose neck isn't going to work for my pin box.
It's not considered a GN, due to the ball being elevated approx. 18" or so off the deck of the truck bed and the way the Andersen is constructed, the weight is distributed across the frame of the Andersen Ultimate 5th wheel hitch....There is a video that will explain it best....watch it, and believe you'll see why it's considered a 5er hitch and not a GN
So would it require safety chains?.

Can't lock your RV to the Andersen. Anyone could pull the latching handle.

Are you suggesting that nobody could pull the handle an a conventional 5th wheel hitch?

Can't hook up to another std 5th wheel hitch without removing Andersen parts.

??? Don't understand that comment. What Andersen parts? No truck can use two hitches in the same space. B&W makes the Companion that uses the same Ball as the Andersen. The Anderson only weighs 32 lbs!! Just remove it and put on the Companion. There is another manufacturer that also makes a hitch for the Ball.
