Here's another thought...if you tow with a 3/4 ton and think your 5er is too heavy for an Andersen, you probably don't have enough payload either. I tow a 10K ultralight with an 1800# pin weight. The 2500HD has 2500# remaining pin weight all inclusive before 5er pin load. The Andersen's 100# less pin load was important for me and I suspect their target market may indeed be the 3/4 ton and some 1/2 ton towees. If you tow with a 1 ton dually or a freightliner, you have already crossed the thought boundary that says big and heavy is best. Fair enough. Enjoy!
