Technically the B&W Companion gooseneck to fifth wheel sits on the bed the same way the Anderson does. The B&W pictured above is the puck mounted version. Below is a picture of the B&W gooseneck to fifth wheel for reference.
Yes and B&W stepped up and are using a spacer now so the hitch base does not push fore and aft and deflect the truck bed as I guarantee you the Andersen does with a larger RV.
