I guarantee his bed is deflecting as mine did with my B&W without spacers! His MS is even heavier than mine. I did not notice the dents until I removed the hitch.
Most of us know what happens to metal when it flexes over time.
Anyone with a GoPro willing to do a video of their Anderson hitch on the road like the B&W video linked earlier? How about ranchertx, yours is a heaby trailer. Might be able to do it with a smart phone and some duc tape. Chris
I would like to see that video of the Andersen as well. Great idea.
Thanks!
Jeremiah
While the B&W is a well made hitch, depending on the bed floor support for the Companion and the Anderson is one of the reasons I would never have either.
In the Rah, Rah group, Cummins you are so far behind these Anderson Ultimate zealots , it isn't funny.
I might think about the B&W Patriot, or puck system in a newer TV, but still don't like the jaws opening to the rear.
If I wanted to deal with a ball hitch, I would get a true GN adapter, and reinforce the 5er frame.
To each their own, I will continue to use my good old Reese 16K twin jaw that is connected to the TV's FRAME at four points.
The design of the Reese twin cam is such the harder you pull the tighter the jaws close!
I'm all past that bed deflecting BIZ. LOCKED and LOADED BABY :B
