Quartz and granite are virtually the same weight. Some granite is slightly less some slightly less more.

Never complained, just stated that it's heavy for its size. :-) With these lightweight rigs, you do give up CCC as a tradeoff, but we travel fairly light, so that's not a real issue. My Komfort has 4,000+ lbs CCC (though I =do= take that with a dose of salt) and looking at ones with < 2k gets you to thinking. :-)

=Real= quartz?! Geez, I'd be able to carry about 3 pairs of chonies and 10 gallons of water for the weight penalty. :-) I =know= what my daughter's granite counter tops weighed.

They use Hi-mac solid surface and there is little if any weight difference. We love ours.

Jayco says "LG®" in their options list. :h

Forget the Corian/Solid Surface products. If you want a surface that will hold up to almost anything Quartz is the way to go. So far at almost 1 year of full timing in our 16 MS our tops still look new.

I would prefer solid surface vs. Laminate, especially if you gain an undermount sink.
Laminate with an undermount sink would be a deal breaker for me
