The OP is a candidate for an upgraded TV - an MDT or HDT would work well. (A nice HDT can be had for less than a new pickup - with all the pulling and stopping capacity anyone could ever want.)

That 5er doesn't come close to needing a MDT!!
With a GVWR of 15,000# it could be towed/carried within ratings of a new 350/3500 SRW.
I really do dislike when people state you need a DRW to carry a 12,000# 5er, or a MDT to carry/pull a 15,000# fiver.
