Spray on Roofs

I drove through Green Cove Springs a few weeks back and noticed this company http://www.rvroof.com/ . Any one used this process or have comments? Looks similar the the new Excel Rhino application.

I thought I saw $135 per foot or something like that.

  • http://liners.rhinolinings.com/en/p/ecocoat Here's the web site for rhino liners. They are doing rv roofs.
  • I live in the Jacksonville area and this guy has been in business a while. He has recently expanded so I guess he is doing OK. I have seen his product and chatted with him at the local RV show a few years ago.
As a previous poster mentioned, Excel is now offering the Rhino roof as a factory option on their Winslow lline as an alterniative to the standard fiberglass roof on their higher end Limited. Excel is offering the product install at their factory for any rig.
Anyone with a qulaity built RV interested in keeping it for many years would probably find this roof worth the cost. After all, the roof is one of the weakest links on RVs. Just my 2 cents.
It would be nice to hear from anyone who has had this roof installed from the Green Cove Springs, FL, installer. Phillip
  • looks interesting but there is at least one incorrect statement in their site, "There is no truly one piece roof on the market from a manufacturer"

  • I have never heard of this, but it would be something I would be interested in doing in the future for my rv.
  • Interesting..........The ol' Alpenlite is needing something done to its roof. The PO did a coating on it, but must have prepped it wrong, cause its peeling back off.
