Spring cleaning

Beautiful weather in So. LA today. Outside all day cleaning the 5ver, top to bottom, wifey helping all day long. I had recently converted from drum to disc, had a few test miles on the disc install. Pulled the wheels, checked it all out, cleaned the rims and tires, greased the disc calipers and pins with some brake lube. Ready for the summer, until something breaks.
  • Just finished our spring cleaning and reloading. Just took the 5er back to the storage lot today. Unfortunately we probably won't get to go out until the end of April. Just couldn't wait to do some long planned mods to the trailer. Supposed to be in the 70's and sunny here tomorrow!

Good advice! We often do! We love Riverbend RV Park in Twisp. Rumor has it the North Cascades HWY will be open in a week!

Our weather report.... Would love to do the maintenance "get ready" things, wax, replace some chalking etc. but it's miserable doing so in the rain. We camp in the rain (have to or we don't get to camp) but will have to wait for exterior "spring cleaning" until summer. :)

  • Spring cleaning for me is to do the entire inside of our alpenlite including ceilings and window channels from the 6 months in dusty Casa Grande Az.
