square footage?
How do you determine the square footage of my fifth wheel? it is 36' long and 8'2 wide?

I think the OP was asking two questions in reality...LIVING SPACE, and SQUARE FOOTAGE. As others have said, sq footage is a fairly logical math problem of L*W. Good for figuring amount of sealant needed for roof repairs, etc. Living space, however, needs to include slides, and needs to subtract cupboards, closets, bath, etc. You don't realize how much you actually lose to those things until you add it up.
As a relative newbie on this forum, I find it really sad to see how rude some of the members are to others, especially newbies. It makes me not want to hang out, and I've learned some really good things from people. What happened to common courtesy and being nice?
